Austin Summer Musical for Children

We have gone to their shows for 3 years and I loved all of them. They are always funny and interesting. I really like the characters they come up with. It is so cool that people with jobs and families donate their time so kids can see musicals for free. I'm glad we get to see them every year!

Little Helping Hands

This Saturday I volunteered to take computers apart at Goodwill through Little Helping Hands. It was fun taking them apart with screwdrivers. I felt good doing it too because all the computer parts that still work are made into new computers and the money that comes from selling them goes to things that can help people find jobs. I hope we get to volunteer there again! If you want to learn about this awesome program go to http://littlehelpinghands.org

Catfish Parlour

The Catfish Parlour was nice enough to do a fundraiser for my school. I really liked the food there and I couldn't stop eating the Hush Puppies. I thought it was cool that they had a menu choice for kids my age! Sometimes the Kids meals are too small for me and the grown up dinners are too big. It was really nice of them to think of my age group.
